Oyster House in Pine Mountain

Good food, great time. Recommend happy hour fish bowl margaritas!

The portions were huge. I had the alfredo and it was delicious. My husband had the first mate with shrimp and oysters and enjoyed it. The server, Anna, was attentive and polite and the tartar sauce was amazing. We will be back.

My family visited on 6/27 after leaving the Wild Life Safari. 2 out of 4 of our orders were wrong. Food mediocre at best for the price($157 for four people) My 5 year olds lemon pepper wings were dry. My 11 year didn’t receive her crab legs until after we were almost done eating and they were overcooked. Drinks arrived late, refills, and waitress were slow. Lobster and shrimp Mac and cheese was watery under the baked cheese. For the price , I expected more. Will not be returning!

We just ordered a little of everything! BEST FOOD EVER... Really friendly and the food is great from appetizers to desserts.

Had the 16 Shrimp Bucket with 'Tatoes & Sausage washed down with a Shock Top. Yumee! It was good!

The plate of food pictured was $22.95. Scallops and Oysters. They added gratuity to our meal when we only had 5 people at the table. The Baby bee bucket is $69.95 and doesn't warrant that price tag. Not worth it. Very overpriced for the food you get. For the people giving 5 stars I guess you have not been to a good seafood restaurant. My Aunt had the Ribeye steak and it looked awful. Thin and over done for $24.95.

Wife and I came here because they were the only restaurant open after 8pm around. We ordered the lobster plate. It came with potatoes. That's all. We left as hungry as when we got there. The food was marginal, the place was full tho, so we sat at the bar. The bartender was great and actually knew how to make an Old Fashioned. I don't remember her name but she was pretty and had a great attitude. 5 stars for bartender, 1 star for food.

You wouldn't think so by looking at the building but very good food. The shrimp was incredible and the fish was good.

Hands down this was the best seafood I've had in a while. Great service, great food...a wonderful combination. I will never go to Callaway Garden's without stopping by for a delicious meal.

Calamari was good. The fries are great, the service was resl good, the shtimp was a lityle spicey and fishey tasting but everything else was good.

Great service and friendly staff. Comfortable atmosphere and yummy food. We especially enjoyed their homemade cocktail sauce. We look forward to returning!

My wife had been here on a prior business trip, so we had to return a couple years later. We had seared catfish with sides for lunch. Everything was delicious. Staff were accommodating and friendly. I liked the shape of the plates -- a sort of rounded-off squarish trapezoid. The restaurant inside is relatively dark. There is a second room in the back with a bar, and outdoor seating as well.There's not much room for parking, and the place is packed and popular, yet still we found a spot to park.If you're passing through Pine Mountain, GA, and you enjoy an old-fashioned fish camp experience, you'll really want to check out the Oyster House.I've posted a few pictures of our experience.

This place is AMAZING! From the second we walked in, we were greeted and felt at home the entire time. The food was out of this world! The sevice was wonderful. Our server was Mercedes and she is the best! She makes the best Arnold Palmer in the known world! I love this place.

The food was good, the service was terrible. Went there with 7 family members on father's day. It was so bad, that my steak arrived almost an hour later, the rest of the group was getting the wrong food, etc. I talked to another server, and she said that our server was new. That is bad management, you do not assign a new server a table with a large party. She was lucky, gratuitie was included.

Love this place, can't wait to go back. We had fried shrimp, oysters, and scallops. So good and the service was excellent.

Manager was very disrespectful! We had a party of 5 on separate tickets. 3 people on 1 ticket & 2 on the other ticket and we were charged gratuity. Manager said we were charged for 6 people and argued about it then said we were charged because we had a party. And then she goes to say the computer does the gratuity itself. Also she says so you wouldn't tip 18% because they only make 2.50. We had 2 babies that did NOT eat because they drink formula. And she argued the entire time we tried discussing about our bill. I WILL NEVER CIME HERE AGAIN! 8 also says that our tickets together totaled $300 and we paid SEPARATELY! Her name is ANNA!

Great seafood! Food was prepared perfectly. Fried shrimp, sauteed shrimp, and catfish Po Boy were all awesome. Kids raved about the chicken fingers as well. Service was fast and courteous. Definitely no complaints and a full belly!

The shrimp was the best that we have had. The service was great. We will definitely be back!

Fried hand battered catfish was not good not a corn meal batter. Also dont believe the hype on the mac and cheese. The cheese hardens in 5 minutes. The shrimp and crab dip was pureed, 🤔. Our waiter Malcom was good for his first week on the job. Overall experience on eating was a downer 😖

Pull up about 5 minutes till 9 door still wide open customers still in their eating didn't even want to serve me even though I was in there before closing. Will never step foot in there again. I guess there's no such thing as customer service anymore.All they're trying to figure out how fast they can get out the door.

So we ate here today 6.19.2020. The food was fine. The bill came to $105 $15 for gratituty. We have no problem tipping but they said that we have a party of 6. First of all, it’s 4 adults, 1 teenager and two babies. A six month old and a 9 month old. So according to the “MANAGER” we had 6 people. Then the “MANAGER “ argues with me saying it’s just 18%. We make 2.13 a hour and you wouldn’t give us a 18% tip. She then said said the computer automatically generates it for $250 or month. Yet we were on separate checks. I have no problem tipping anyone; however don’t tell Me what to tip anyone. The manager’s name is Anna. And I will be calling up here to the restaurant to speak to the owner directly. Great food but the customer service is absolutely terrible.

Sat at a table and got our menu. Waited for server.Saw another table get seated and then drinks. Still no one came to us.We left disappointed.

Upon arrival at the Oyster House, we were not too impressed by the exterior of the building as it reminded us of a converted Waffle House. We walked in to the front door, which landed us directly in front of the kitchen. The house was packed with people at every table, and we had to endure a small wait time until a table became available for my husband, my baby in a car seat, and myself. All that aside. Our experience was nothing short of spectacular! Our waitress, though I didn't catch her name, was very helpful, kept our drinks full, and gave great recommendations. We ordered drinks, the Baby Bee Bucket (pictured) and the Chocolate Madness a la mode for dessert. I live on the Flint River, I live two hours from the beach, I've traveled the world, and this was some of the best seafood I've ever had! This was our first visit to Pine Mountain, and eating at this restaurant would be a reason we return; we would come back just for the food!

Great place. Had several items just to try. The hush puppies are amazing. The Mac and cheese is to die for. The crab legs were a normal. The shrimp bucket was very good. I tried a few fried shrimp and the were great. Service was excellent.

Dinner with friends last night after Callaway Christmas lights. Raw oysters were fresh and delicious! Wife and I shared the Baby Bee bucket with lobster, shrimp and crab legs. More than enough. Even the sausage was fantastic. Our waitress, Kyndall was awesome too! Will definitely return in the future.

Excellent diner... busy, but little to no wait. Waiter Cameron was extremely helpful, polite, and informative. The oysters were great! The fried food had a delicious breading that even our picky daughter loved. Definitely would recommend and will visit again next time we are up around Pine Mountain!

It's called the oyster house. I really expected good oysters. The oysters were over cooked, small anthems breading was almost burnt. Salad was good, but I can get a salad anytime.

The food is awsome and the owner is very prompt to handle any situation that arises, he is a customer service first fan base... good guy, Oyster House will always be on my places to eat list.

The food was fantastic as usual, but today the service was only fair. We never had our drinks refilled once throughout the whole meal, even though we ASKED three times!The food was EXCELLENT, though. My son ordered the fish and chips, and it featured an exceptional piece of cod, perfectly cooked. The mac and cheese is always a great choice, and it did not disappoint! The Baby Bee pot and the Shrimp pot were also delicious.

Food was excellent, service was excellent.We were a large crowd and they were very accommodating. The number of people eating there was a testament to the quality of their food. The atmosphere is rustic.

Wonderful service and amazing food. We had the fish and chips and fried scallops both half servings. Good thing because the amount of food is ginormous! Although we couldn't finish it all we shared a piece of key lime pie. Delicious. The fish and chips was Alaskan cod and very good. They serve on unique platters that are round tin type. Very cool. Our waitress, Megan, was very attentive and will definitely go back.

Best place in Callaway. This place was amazing. All the servers were super sweet, prompt, and treated my daughter like a princess. Ask for Kayla she was the best. So much food for the price. On Sundays they are the only option and for us we wouldn't go anywhere else. We will be back for sure! #seafooddoneright

Excellent food and service. We come here all the time when we come to Callaway Garden. I would highly recommend all seafood lovers to go to the Oyster House.

Absolutely delicious!! Me and my husband got our meals to go. I got the fried shrimp platter and he got the shrimp bucket and it was so so good!! Definitely was not disappointed. Will be back.
